Greenery Lined Aisle Wedding at Grand Gimeno

After getting ready in the Powder Room and Parlor at Grand Gimeno, Teresa and her bridesmaids and Wittemore and his groomsmen posed for group photos separately to ensure they wouldn’t see each other before the wedding ceremony. Theresa wore a classic a-line wedding gown, and her bridesmaids were dressed in blue. Each of the girls held a bouquet of greenery, white and peach flowers, and kumquats. The groom and groomsmen wore black, and their boutonnieres matched the girl’s bouquets. Once group pictures were captured, the wedding party lined up for ceremony.

Guests entered the Foyer, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. The aisle was lined with greenery leading all the way to where Teresa and Wittemore would soon be standing. As soon as everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. Last to walk out was Teresa, and when her and Wittemore locked eyes, they were all smiles. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as guests cheered.

Mini Al Pastor Tacos, Shrimp Ceviche, and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed during cocktail hour while beer and wine were served at the bar. Family and newlywed photos were taken while guests mixed and mingled, and just as the sun set, the bride and groom invited everyone in for reception.

Tables were topped with floral filled bud vases, candles, and printed menus. As soon as everyone was seated, Teresa and Wittemore made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon, Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs, Jasmine Rice, Spicy Szechuan Green Beans, and Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the couple with help from our event specialist, Patti. Friends and family shared toasts while everyone enjoyed dinner, and afterwards, the bride and groom cut into their two-tiered lemon cake with lemon creme filling. Wittemore and Teresa invited everyone to indulge in a slice of cake then join them for some dancing. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
