Greenery and a Getaway Car Wedding at The Estate on Second
With finishing touches complete, Sarah and Jorge lined up with their wedding party just in time for ceremony. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and found their seats inside the Crystal Ballroom at The Estate on Second where candles lined the aisle and white flowers and greenery decorated the center Palladian window. Without further ado, Jorge led the processional down the aisle ending with Sarah. All eyes were on the bride and her eyes were on Jorge for their first look that day. With smiles on their faces, the two were joined together in front of all their family and friends. Vows were recited, rings were exchanged, and the ceremony was sealed with a kiss as the crowd cheered from the sidelines.
The newlyweds posed for photos outside while guests gathered for light bites and good conversation. Polote, Falafel Bites, and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed around the room and lemonade was served for refreshment. Once Jorge and Sarah finished golden hour pictures with their photographer, everyone was invited back into the Crystal Ballroom for dinner.
Tables were topped with fresh floral centerpieces and candles and individual thank you gifts were placed at each setting. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance. After, family and friends stood to make toasts. Laughs were shared and glasses clinked in the air when each speech ended. A dinner of Grilled Greek Chicken Kabobs, Beef Souvlaki, Greek Lemon Potatoes, Roasted Broccolini, Pita Bread, and Santorini Salad was served next. The menu was selected by Sarah and Jorge with help from our Event Specialist Patti. To end the meal with something sweet, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to enjoy a slice. The evening ended with many photo memories and a vintage car getaway.
