Fall Wedding with Fresh Florals at Grand Gimeno

Jessica slipped into her wedding dress inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno then headed outside to the Courtyard for her first look with Mike. On the count of three, Mike turned around to see his bride standing before him. An emotional exchange was shared as their wedding party watched from inside. Afterwards, Jessica and Mike were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen in the Olive Grove for group pictures. The girls were dressed in pink and the guys wore black, and together they created core memories together before heading back inside to line up for ceremony.

Guests arrived at Grand Gimeno and were directed to the Olive Grove where the ceremony was set. Light pink, white and brown florals were formed into two pillars and matching arrangements marked the back of the aisle. After signing the bride and groom’s guest book, guests took a seat. Once everyone was in attendance, Mike led the processional. Everyone stood and all eyes were on Jessica as her and her father walked to Mike. In front of family and friends, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Our Spanish Tapas Bar was a hit during cocktail hour serving up Chorizo, Manchego, and Olive Skewers, Flank Steak with Goat Cheese on Toast, and Empanadas de Pollo. Shrimp Ceviche and Mini Al Pastor Tacos were tray passed while the bar was mixing up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Paloma. Guests mixed and mingled while Mike and Jessica were off posing for romantics with their photographer, and just as the sun was setting, everyone headed inside for dinner.

Fresh floral arrangements and candles topped reception tables inside. Guests checked the seating chart and took a seat at their assigned tables. Jessica and Mike made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table. Tequila Lime Chicken, Espresso Crusted Tri Tip, Cheese Enchiladas, Elote Creamed Corn, and Mexican Caesar Salad were served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Patti. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their two-tiered white cake with strawberry creme filling and invited everyone to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The evening ended with guests showing off their best dance moves and posing for keepsake pictures at the photo booth.
