Fall Inspired Wedding at The Estate on Second
Maddison and her bridesmaids finished getting ready in the bridal suite downstairs at The Estate on Second while Joshua and the groomsmen posed for group photos upstairs. Each bridesmaid wore dark blue and held a bouquet of rust, red and white flowers to match the fall theme, and the bride was dressed in an off-the-shoulder, lace gown. The groomsmen were suited up in grey and all wore matching rust-colored ties, but the groom stood out from the group in a navy suit. Once all the little details and accessories were complete, Maddison met Joshua on the stairs for their first look. Huge smiles filled their faces when they saw each other for the first time that day and their wedding party cheered as the two shared a kiss. After, the bride and groom and their bridesmaids and groomsmen took group pictures all around the venue before guests started arriving to capture moments with their closest friends and family.
Guests stopped at the welcome table to sign Maddison and Joshua’s guest book before taking a seat inside the Crystal Ballroom. A copper backdrop decorated with maroon, rust, and peach flowers stood tall in front of the center Palladian window and lanterns and candles decorated its feet. Once everyone had arrived, the wedding party made their entrances down the aisle ending with Maddison whose eyes filled with emotional tears the second she saw her groom. The two read handwritten vows to one another that drew laughs from the crowd, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.
First things first. The bride and groom were greeted by servers with their signature cocktails, a Hawaiian Mule and Coconut Mai Tai, and hors d’oeuvres. After a few sips and bites, the couple headed outside for golden hour photos while guests mixed and mingled inside. Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts and Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed while the bar was shaking and stirring up drinks. Before long, everyone was called back into the Crystal Ballroom for the reception.
Guests found their assigned tables and took a seat awaiting the bride and groom. The music cued up and a very entertaining grand entrance was performed. Maddison and Joshua sang and hyped up the crowd, then slowed things down for their first dance. Cheers from guests filled the room as the newlyweds took a seat at their sweetheart table. Each table was draped in white linen and lanterns acted as centerpieces. Rust napkins added a pop of color and tied in with the floral sweetheart table decor. Toasts were shared and a few fun games were played, then dinner was served. The menu consisted of Chicken Piccata, Tortellini Corsica, Roasted Italian Zucchini, Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms, and Italian Chopped Salad, and was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle, during their planning process. Maddison and Joshua cut their wedding cake and unveiled the Italian Dessert Station with an assortment of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes, but before everyone could grab something sweet, a surprise performance by the groom began. The choreographed dance had the bride and their guests cheering and clapping along while Joshua was spun in the air by his groomsmen. Once the dance ended, the newlyweds thanked everyone for coming to celebrate and encouraged guests to enjoy the desserts and join them on the dance floor. Between the dancing and posing at the photo booth, the night seemed to flash by. Everyone gathered outside to send off the bride and groom by turning on their phone flashlights and cheering as they took off into the night.
