Evergreen Rose Center Wedding

After getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, Joyce and Yeon met inside the Rose Center for their first look. With a tap of the shoulder, Yeon turned around to see his beautiful bride. Their eyes met and smiles soon followed along with happy tears. The couple shared sweet compliments as their friends watched from the sidelines taking pictures of the special moment. Afterwards, the group wandered around the venue posing for photos together, then lined up for the ceremony.

Greenery and white flowers lined the aisle outside in the courtyard and a tall, circular ceremony arch stood center stage. Guests entered, signed Joyce and Yeon’s guest book, then took a seat. As soon as everyone had arrived, the wedding party made their entrances ending with the bride. In front of their closest friends and family, Yeon and Joyce recited vows, exchanged rings, broke bread, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

The celebration continued in the courtyard for cocktail hour. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed and the bar was serving up the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Paloma and Old Fashioned. While guests mixed and mingled, the newlyweds snuck away for a few photos before rejoining the group for reception.

Inside, tables were draped in grey linens and topped with fresh floral centerpieces. Plates with custom printed menus, silver flatware, and glassware completed the setup. Once everyone had found their assigned tables, the newlyweds made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table. A dinner of Kalua Pork, Sliced Beef Brisket, Papaya Salad, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Stir Fry Vegetables was served, and toasts were shared. Family and friends stood and reminisced on past times bringing many laughs from the bride and groom and the crowd. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and wishing the bride and groom well before heading home.
