Eucalyptus Wedding Reception at Grand Gimeno

The Powder Room and Parlor doors at Grand Gimeno opened bright and early for Olivia and Andrew to get ready for their big day. The bridesmaids sipped on champagne while getting their hair and makeup done in matching pajamas, and the guys suited up across the way. A few photos of both groups were snapped, then the wedding party was on their way to a church down the street where the bride and groom would say their I dos. Friends and family filled the pews and cheered once Andrew and Olivia sealed the deal with a kiss.

Everyone made their way back to Grand Gimeno just in time for cocktail hour. Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas and Shrimp Ceviche were tray passed while our Melt Bar with Blackberry, Brie, Bacon, and Jalapeno Melts and Pulled Pork and Mac n Cheese Melts were cut and served fresh. Guests moseyed up to the bar and chose from a selection of drinks including the newlywed’s signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Aperol Spritz. While everyone mixed and mingled, Andrew and Olivia and their bridesmaids and groomsmen posed for pictures together. After cocktail hour, everyone checked the seating chart and headed to reception.

Tables were topped with eucalyptus and tea candles as décor. Once everyone found their assigned seats, Olivia and Andrew made their grand entrance and shared their first dance. Next, a dinner of Southwest Chicken, Barbacoa Shredded Beef, Cheese Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, Elote Creamed Corn, and Corn Tortillas was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey. Friends and family stood to share toasts and glasses clinked in the air after each speech ended, then it was time for cake and dessert. The newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Homemade Donut Station. After eating a little something sweet, everyone hit the dance floor. The rest of the evening was spent dancing around the bride and groom and posing for pictures together at the photo booth.
