Emerald Green and Black Wedding at Hangar 21 South
Mercedes and Zachary met outside of Hangar 21 South for their first look while the wedding party watched from the sidelines. Huge smiles filled the bride and groom’s faces when they saw each other, and sweet compliments were exchanged while the two soaked in the moment. Afterwards, Mercedes and Zachary posed with their bridesmaids and groomsmen on the tarmac. The bridesmaids were dressed in emerald green, and the groomsmen wore black with green ties. Together, the group smiled for the camera creating memories to last a lifetime, then lined up for the ceremony.
Guests arrived on the side patio, left the couple a voice message, then took a seat. Greenery and white flowers decorated a wooden backdrop on stage and eucalyptus marked both sides of the aisle. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances and took their places on stage. In front of all their friends and family, Zachary and Mercedes read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Guests were greeted on the tarmac with tray passed Mini Turkey and Ham Palm Sandwiches and Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites while the bar was mixing up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Paloma and Old Fashioned. A black and green lounge provided a stylish and comfortable place to sit back, snack, and sip while waiting for dinner. Guests mixed and mingled, and the bride and groom headed off on their flight over Orange County. Upon their return, it was time for reception.
Tables were topped with greenery and gold accents and disco balls hung from the ceiling. Guests found their assigned tables and took a seat as the bride and groom made their grand entrance. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Mashed Potatoes, Warm Skillet Corn Bread, Panko Crusted Mac N Cheese, and Caesar Salad was served as family and friends began toasts. The menu was selected by Mercedes and Zachary with help from our event specialist, Arielle. Glasses clinked in the air after the last speech ended, then the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Latin Dessert Station with a collection of petite tres leches cakes, mini caramel custard flan, coconut macaroons, churro eclairs, and Mexican wedding cookies. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and stealing a dance with the bride and groom.
