Edgy, Romantic Wedding at the Hudson Loft

Light seeped its way through the windows of the Hudson Loft as Irish and Mike got ready for the most important day of their lives.  The girls were getting primped and pampered and exchanging words of endearment while the boys were toasting to the future.  Dressed in tones from blush to white, Irish and her bridesmaids were ready to walk the aisle.

All the below images were taken by Gretchen Gause.

With the city around them and friends and family behind them, the couple exchanged their vows in a beautiful rooftop ceremony.  After sharing heartwarming moments with their guests, Irish and Mike snuck away to capture unforgettable memories as the sun was setting.  Did we mention that they had custom embroidered leather jackets to commemorate their special day?!

Meanwhile, guests made their way inside the venue for light canapes and cocktails. Our make your own bruschetta bar with pomodoro, sundried tomato cream cheese, olive tapenade and balsamic reduction provided small bites before dinner to tide guests over.

Tables were decorated in ivory roses, eucalyptus, and tall, slender candle sticks.  The sweetheart table was the true showstopper engulfed in pink, peach and purple roses with a soft table runner cascading down one side. A simple statement.  Chicken parmigiana, tortellini with creamy pesto, pene ala checcha, and grilled marinated vegetables were brought to each table to be served family style.

After dinner, the cake was cut, and guests could indulge in our fan favorite old fashioned chocolate chip cookies with a shot of milk to wash it down.
