Colorful Summertime Wedding at Grand Gimeno

After tying the knot off-site at their local church, Cindy and Xavier invited all their guests to Grand Gimeno to continue the celebration with cocktail hour and reception. After freshening up in the Parlor and Powder Room, the bride and groom met with their bridal party in the Olive Grove for group photos as guests arrived. A welcome sign ushered guests into the venue to sip on the newlywed’s signature cocktails, an Aperol Spritz and Classic Margarita, and snack on tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts. Cocktail tables were topped with vibrant florals popping out of bud vases and a retro-inspired lounge offered a relaxing space where anyone could sit back. In between mixing and mingling, guests made sure to stop by the audio guest book to leave a loving voice message for the couple. Just as the sun began setting, everyone was invited outside for dinner.

Tables were topped with ivory linens and colorful flowers. Custom menus held each guest’s place and modern tableware completed the setup. Once everyone had found their seats, Cindy and Xavier made their grand entrance and took a seat at their sweetheart table while guests cheered. Friends and family shared toasts, then dinner was served. Chicken Santorini, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano with Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Caesar Salad filled plates at the buffet. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Lauren. Rave reviews were shared around each table, then the newlywed’s invited everyone to enjoy dessert. Our Latin Dessert Station with an assortment of Petit Tres Leche Cakes, Mini Caramel Custard Flan, Coconut Macaroons, and Dulce de Leche Chocolate Tarts and our Italian Dessert Station with an assortment of Fresh Fruit Tarts with Vanilla Mascarpone, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli with Lemon Ricotta Filling, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes were unveiled. Guests grabbed a little something sweet, then headed inside for Cindy and Xavier’s first dance. Everyone surrounded the dance floor while the bride and groom swayed to the music, and afterwards, the crowd joined in. Glow sticks were passed around and everyone showed off their moves. Making sure to commemorate the evening, guests stopped by the photo booth and posed for the camera. The evening ended with a delicious visit from In n Out as a late night snack and guests went home with full hearts.
