Colorful, Modern Hangar 21 South Wedding

Lily stepped out the Hangar 21 South doors for her first look with Ryan. She paused for a moment to soak in all the emotions she was feeling, then tapped Ryan’s shoulder. The two shared a warm embrace and complimented one another on their wedding attire before their bridesmaids and groomsmen joined them. Each groomsman wore a black suit and each bridesmaid was dressed in a rust slip dress. Lily’s wedding dress had a lace bodice and crepe skirt while Ryan matched his groomsmen in black. Bouquets of ivory, mustard, tan and rust colored florals were held by each girl and matched the wedding decor.

Guests found their seats on the tarmac facing the hangar doors and a beautiful floral installation. Once everyone had arrived, the wedding party made their entrances down the aisle. Lily and Ryan exchanged loving vows and sealed the deal with a kiss that drew an uproar of cheers from the crowd. The newlyweds danced their way out of their ceremony and were greeted with their fur baby - because pets are part of the family too!

While Lily and Ryan were out and about taking pictures as husband and wife, guests got to enjoy cocktail hour. Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls and Crab Cakes were tray passed and the bar was serving up wine, beer, and refreshing cocktails. A Pineapple Margarita and Whiskey Sour were the newlyweds drink of choice and many guests indulged in the signature cocktails before heading inside to find their seats for dinner. The bride and groom landed from their flight and entered into the hangar for their first dance in front of family and friends. Tables were draped in grey linens and orange, pink, tan, and mustard flowers were perfectly arranged in vases adding pops of color into the industrial space. Lights were strung above the dance floor creating a romantic atmosphere and greenery hung on either side. Toasts were made in honor of Lily and Ryan, then dinner was served. The menu was decided on by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Brittany. Sliced Beef Brisket, Huli Huli Chicken, Pineapple Fried Rice, Far East Wok Long Beans, and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls filled plates as guests made their way through the buffet line. A lemon cake and chocolate cake were cut and served after dinner for those with a sweet tooth and the evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor.
