Classic Black and White Wedding at Forme Los Angeles

Connie left the Sunburst Suite at Forme, descended down the open-air loft stairway, and met her groom, Mike, for their first look. The train of her classic wedding dress trailed behind her as she approached Mike. With a brush of his shoulder, Mike turned around to see his radiant bride standing before him. Overwhelmed with emotion, Connie shed a tear and the two shared a warm embrace. Before joining the rest of their wedding party, the bride and groom soaked in memorable moments alone. After couple photos, Connie and Mike joined their groomsmen and bridesmaids. Each groomsman wore a black tux and bow tie. The bridesmaids wore matching white dresses and held bouquets of baby’s breath wrapped in an ivory ribbon. Together, the group lined up for Connie and Mikes wedding ceremony.

Ghost chairs were perfectly lined up facing Forme’s statement wall. A floral covered arbor stood directly center and arrangements of white flowers marked the beginning of the aisle. Guests arrived, filled in the ceremony seats, and awaited the bride and groom’s entrance. A playlist of soft songs began and Mike led the wedding party down the aisle. Connie was last to make an entrance and was escorted by her father. The giving of the bride took place at the head of the aisle, then everyone was seated. In front of family and friends, Connie and Mike shared their love for one another in the form of vows. Rings were exchanged and the officiant pronounced the two husband and wife. Guests cheered as the newlyweds kissed concluding the ceremony.

Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Caprese Skewers were served during cocktail hour and the bar was shaking up drinks. Many Moscow Mules and Palomas were ordered, which were the bride and groom’s signature cocktails. Everyone enjoyed mixing and mingling while the newlyweds were wandering around the venue with their photographer soaking in golden hour. Upon their return, guests had taken their seats for dinner. Tables were draped in white linen and floral centerpieces decorated the top of each table. Connie and Mike made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. While toasts were being made, a plated dinner of Chicken Santorini, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Angus Flat Iron, Oven Roasted Rainbow Fingerling Potatoes, and Green Beans Almondine was served to guests. Our Venue and Catering Manager, Rachel, assisted the couple in their wedding menu selection during the planning process and their choices did not disappoint. Rave reviews of the dinner could be heard around every table. After dinner, the bride and groom stepped aside to cut their 3-tiered wedding cake and share the delicious dessert with guests. For those guests who didn’t prefer cake, Cookie and Milk Shots were available! Sweet treats spiked the energy levels of guests and everyone hit the dance floor. Group dancing, slow dancing, and more ensued. With so much fun and dancing, no one wanted the party to end. Guests were surprised with late night snacks to curb their appetite they worked up from showing off their moves. Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites and Mac-N-Cheese Lollisticks were throughly enjoyed before saying goodbye to the newlyweds and wishing them well on their forever journey together.
