Celestial Glam Wedding at The Casino San Clemente

Anina in white and her bridesmaids in matching green pajamas arrived at the Casino San Clemente to get ready for the big day. Polaroid selfies were taken while the girls unpacked their things and started primping and pampering. Once hair and makeup were completed, the bride and her bridesmaids changed into their dresses. Anina wore a classic trumpet style gown with cape attachment and the bridesmaids wore teal. While the girls were finishing up, Tony and his groomsmen arrived and suited up. Tony wore a teal suit to match the color scheme and his groomsmen wore black suits with teal bow ties. With the bride and groom ready, the couple stepped outside for their first look in front of the Casino. A tearful but happy exchange was had when Anina and Tony saw each other for the first time that day and compliments were shared between the two. Afterwards, the bride and groom posed with their bridal party for group pictures, then lined up for ceremony.

Guests arrived to a champagne and soft pretzel welcome, signed Anina and Tony’s globe, then took a seat in the Rock Garden. Eucalyptus decorated the ceremony space and a sun acted as the ceremony backdrop atop the fireplace mantle. As soon as everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Anina. Another tearful moment was shared as the bride walked over to her groom. In front of all their family and friends, Tony and Anina read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Live music filled the air while Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas, Sweet & Sour Meatballs, and Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls were tray passed around the Patio of the Stars. Beer, wine, and cocktails were shaken and stirred, and guests made sure to make a stop by the photo booth for a keepsake. The newlyweds joined their guests for cocktail hour and embarked on their first challenge as a couple; log sawing. Everyone cheered while Anina and Tony cut their log in half, overcoming their obstacle as a married couple. Cocktail hour soon came to an end and everyone checked the seating chart then headed inside.

Tables were draped in ivory linen and topped with green accents in the form of goblets and napkins. Greenery and fresh floral centerpieces sprouted up from each table and gold details completed the place settings. The bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat at the head table. A salad course of Summer Spinach and Berry Salad was served, then the entrée course of Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Lemon and Thyme Glazed Chicken Breast with Haricot Verts and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. While guests enjoyed dinner, family and friends shared toasts. Laughs were contagious and glasses clinked in the air as each speech ended. Guys in lederhosen and women in dirndl took the stage for a fun dance performance. Everyone cheered as the couples pranced across the dance floor, then it was time for dessert. Anina and Tony cut into their almond cake with raspberry creme filling and invited their guests to enjoy a slice. After a heartfelt thank you from the bride and groom, live music filled the room. Everyone ended the evening showing off their best moves and wishing the newlyweds well.
