Burgundy Wedding at The Estate on Second
Chantayne slipped into her wedding gown with the help of her bridesmaids and Gizelle suited up downstairs at The Estate on Second. The brides just needed to add the finishing touches, then it was time for their first look. With accessories fastened, Chantayne and Gizelle met in the Attic. With a brush of the shoulder, Gizelle turned around to see her beautiful bride standing before her. Sweet compliments were exchanged, and a kiss was shared before the couple headed out for group photos. Outside, the wedding party awaited the brides and cheered when they made their appearance. Burgundy, black, and white were worn by bridesmaids and groomsmen and matching boutonnieres and bouquets completed their looks. The group posed around The Estate making memories to last a lifetime, then headed back inside to line up for ceremony.
Burgundy and white floral pillars lined the center Palladian window and matching ribbon marked the chairs lining the aisle. Guests found their seats after signing Chantayne and Gizelle’s guest book, and once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. A huge smile filled Gizelle’s face when she saw her bride walking towards her. Together at the head of the aisle in front of all their family and friends, the brides read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
The bar and Charcuterie Tray were cocktail hour hot spots while servers tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts. Chantayne and Gizelle’s signature drinks, a Paloma and Dark and Stormy, were popular picks at the bar along with beer and wine. While guests mixed and mingled, the newlyweds posed for golden hour photos inside and around the venue soaking in every moment together. When they were done, the joined their guests for the end of cocktail hour and invited everyone to join them back in the Crystal Ballroom for dinner.
Tables were draped in white linen and topped with tall floral arrangements matching the burgundy color scheme. Pops of gold accented each tablescape and flickering candles completed the setup. Once everyone found their seat, the newlyweds made their grand entrance into their first dance, then sat at their sweetheart table. Dinner was served and toasts were shared by the wedding party. First, a Tangerine and Pecan Salad course, then Chicken Veronique and Short Rib Rotolo Bolzano with Haricot Verts and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, and finally white cake with chocolate mousse filling as dessert. For guests that didn’t want cake, our Latin Dessert Station with an assortment of Petit Tres Leches Cakes, Mini Caramel Custard Flan, Coconut Macaroons, Dulce de Leche Chocolate Tarts, and Mexican Wedding Cookies was also available. The delicious menu was selected by Chantayne and Gizelle with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle. After filling up, everyone hit the dance floor. The newlyweds and their guests showed off their best dance moves and posed for pictures at the photo booth for keepsakes of the special evening. Well wishes were shared, and the evening came to an end after many dance battles.
