Boho Fall Wedding at Forme Los Angeles
Josephine and the girls changed into their dresses inside the Sunburst Suite while Andrew and the guys suited up downstairs in the Sidecar Suite at Forme Los Angeles. In champagne-colored slip dresses, the bridesmaids zipped up Josephine’s wedding gown and helped her with the final details. Meanwhile, the groomsmen dressed in grey helped Andrew with his accessories to ensure everything was perfect. Once the two were ready, they separately headed to their ‘blind’ first look. While holding hands from around the fence corner as to not see each other, Josephine and Andrew read love notes that each of them had written. Laughs and tears were shared as the intimate moment came to an end and guests began arriving.
A welcome sign greeted guests into the courtyard of Forme where a table with guest book and photos of the bride and groom were set up. After signing the guest book, guests found a seat inside and awaited Josephine and Andrew. Against the large geometric wall, a copper arch stood tall and was decorated in fresh flowers. Lining the aisle, tall sprigs of pampas grass sprouted up out of tall vases and white rose petals were scattered about. Live music began playing and the wedding party made their entrances. Since Andrew and Josephine only did a blind first look earlier, this was their first time seeing each other on their wedding day. Andrew did his best to hold back tears as he watched his beautiful bride walk over to him. At the head of the aisle, surrounded by family and friends, the bride and groom read vows, lit candles, and exchanged rings. A sweet kiss accompanied by cheers from the crowd sealed the deal and concluded the ceremony.
Just outside, drinks and hors d’oeuvres were being served for cocktail hour. The newlyweds signature drinks, a Blue Hawaiian and Kentucky Mule, were popular picks at the bar and Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms were being tray passed to hungry guests. Josephine and Andrew posed for family photos before sneaking away for golden hour romantics. While walking around Forme in all their newlywed bliss, the bride and groom soaked in every moment as their photographer captured pictures and lasting memories. Before long, cocktail hour had come to an end and everyone found their assigned tables inside. Josephine and Andrew regrouped with their bridal party for grand entrances just outside our large sliding glass doors.
Tables were draped in white linens and blush colored napkins topped dinner plates. Glass bud vases housed dainty wildflowers and Andrew and Josephine’s sweetheart table was decorated in eucalyptus and white flowers. Once everyone had settled in, the bridesmaids and groomsmen came out in pairs dancing to the music, then the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance. Toasts were made, the garter and bouquet were tossed, and then dinner was served. Guests lined up at the buffet and plated up Italian Chopped Salad, Chicken Rigatoni, Penna Alla Checca, Roasted Broccolini, and Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Venue and Catering Manager, Rachel. During dinner, Andrew serenaded his bride as the crowd watched in awe. After dinner, a candy station was revealed and guests posed at the photo booth for pictures together. The evening ended out on the dance floor dancing with Josephine and Andrew.
