Boho Bride at Hangar 21 South

The bride and her bridesmaids wore matching robes inside the bridal suite at Hangar 21 South while hair and make up concluded. The group told stories and shared laughs as they changed into their wedding attire and grabbed their bouquets. Hannah’s wedding dress was a trumpet style and had lace appliqué detailing. Her bridesmaids contrasted her wedding look in mauve pink dresses. Each girl held a beautiful bouquet of light pink, white, blush, and peach flowers as they headed outside for Hannah and Jon’s first look. Jon was dressed in a black suit with floral tie and his groomsmen wore charcoal. The bride and groom met on the side patio for the big reveal as their closest friends and family watched in excitement. As soon Jon and Hannah saw each other huge smiles filled their faces and compliments were exchanged. Their bridesmaids and groomsmen joined them for some group photos before joining guests at cocktail hour.

The bride and groom had already said, “I do,” so when guests arrived, cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and beverages were being served on the tarmac. Crab Cakes and Pineapple Rumaki were individually plated while the bar was mixing up Hannah and Jon’s signature cocktails; a Mojito and Moscow Mule. While everyone was sipping and snacking, the newlyweds took their flight over Orange County and landed just before their dinner reception. Everyone cheered as the helicopter landed and the bride and groom got out and made their way into the hangar. Everyone took a seat at tables covered in white linens and topped with dried and bleached flowers and pampas grass. After sharing their first dance, Hannah and Jon sat at their floral covered sweetheart table for toasts. Friends and family clinked glasses and shared fond memories before dinner was served. Wild Cherry Salad, Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, Mango Papaya Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Coconut Lime Rice, and Hawaiian Style Potato Macaroni Salad filled guest’s plates. The bride and groom, with help from our Event Specialist Casey, hand selected the wedding menu to ensure each guest was catered to. Dinner did not disappoint. Every table was raving over the food and even went back for seconds!

After dinner, Hannah and Jon cut their almond cake with coconut filling and classic buttercream icing, then the Classic Dessert Station opened for all their guests to enjoy. Everyone was able to select from an assortment of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, and French Apple Tarts before hitting the dance floor. A money dance ended the evening and an uproar of cheering and goodbyes sent the bride and groom off.
