Bohemian Inspired Hangar 21 South Wedding

Lizzie and her bridesmaids and Nathan and his groomsmen posed for group photos after getting ready at Hangar 21 South. The bridesmaids wore rust, and the groomsmen were dressed in navy matching the groom. The bride and groom never saw one another to ensure their first look would be down the aisle, but they did opt for a first touch and exchanged sweet words before lining up for the ceremony.

Guests made their way into the side patio, signed Lizzie and Nathan’s guest book, then took a seat. Boho rugs ran the length of the aisle and flowers decorated both sides. On the stage, a triangular arbor stood tall and was covered in pampas and florals. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their way down the aisle. Sweet smiles were shared by the bride and groom when they saw each other for the first time that day. In front of all their closest friends and family, Nathan and Lizzie read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss while everyone cheered.

The celebration continued on the tarmac for cocktail hour. The bar was shaking, stirring, and serving up Aperol Spritz and Skinny Margarita signature drinks while tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Glazed Pear and Goat Cheese Tarts made their rounds. One lounge space complete with rust, tan, ivory, and wooden furnishings provided a stylish space for guests to take a seat, and another lounge with green accents provided a place where guests could relax until dinner. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds were off on their flight over Orange County, and upon their return, everyone was seated for reception.

Reception tables were topped with greenery, candles, and tan and orange accents. Nathan and Lizzie made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. A dinner of Tequila Lime Chicken, Filet Mignon Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. While everyone enjoyed dinner, family and friends shared toasts. Glasses of champagne clinked in the air when the last speech ended, then it was time to cut the cake. Lizzie and Nathan cut into their personal-sized carrot cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with an assortment of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. Energized from a little something sweet, guests headed out to the dance floor. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best dance moves and grabbing a picture with the bride and groom.
