Blush Wedding at The Estate on Second
Esther and her bridesmaids added their finishing touches upstairs at The Estate on Second while Raj and his groomsmen hung out downstairs awaiting the ceremony. Esther wore a beautiful lace wedding gown with trailing train and each of her bridesmaids were dressed in light blue. The groomsmen matched Raj in black suits and white button ups but their ties were blue while Raj wore a black bow tie to stand out from his party. Bouquets and boutonnières were filled with white roses and greenery as the group lined up behind draped curtains in the Crystal Ballroom for the ceremony.
A polaroid guestbook and welcome sign invited guests into The Estate on Second for Esther and Raj’s wedding. Inside, candles and floral arrangements lined the aisle and sparkling chandeliers hung above. A circular arch covered in light pink and white roses, pampas grass, and eucalyptus acted as the ceremony backdrop where the bride and groom would soon stand. As soon as seats were filled, the processional began. Raj found his place at the head of the aisle and soon after, Esther made her entrance. Emotions were hard to hold back as the bride and groom saw each other for the first time across the aisle from one another. A graceful walk down the aisle led Ester to her groom. In front of family and friends, the bride and groom read handwritten vows and exchanged rings. Once pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds shared a kiss and exited into cocktail hour as the crowd cheered.
Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta and Ellie’s Parmesan Meatballs were being tray passed while the bar was mixing up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Mojito and Old Fashioned. Guests grabbed an hors d’oeuvre or two and mingled amongst each other while Esther and Raj posed for photos together. A fun photo booth became the cocktail hour hot spot as guests posed with props and printed their pictures. When Esther and Raj were done taking photos with their photographer, they rejoined their guests to finish up cocktail hour, then headed into reception.
Tables were draped in white linen with light grey table runners as a neutral backdrop for the blush-colored floral centerpieces. Menus were tucked into napkins and tealights flickered in their votives. Guests found their assigned seats via seating chart and waited for the bride and groom. Esther and Raj entered the Crystal Ballroom to an uproar of cheers and found their seats at the sweetheart table where they thanked everyone for coming to celebrate their marriage. Afterwards, dinner was served. Chicken Parmigiana, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, a Flatbread Station, Roasted Broccolini, Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms, and Mixed Green Salad filled guests’ plates. The Italian Menu was selected by the bride and groom during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Sierra. The food did not disappoint and our Flatbread Station was the talk of the party! While everyone enjoyed their dinner, toasts were made to honor the couple. Tears and laughs were shared, then first dances were had. After dancing, Esther and Raj cut their 2-tier marble wedding cake with chocolate Bavarian filling and offered slices to guests. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and wishing the newlyweds well before they departed.
