Black, White, and Light Pink Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Christian turned around in Grand Gimeno’s breezeway to see his beautiful bride, Monique, smiling back at him for their first look. Sweet compliments were exchanged, then the couple joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen inside for group photos. Everyone except the bride and groom were dressed in black, and together they posed for the camera creating lasting memories before lining up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Under the olive trees, a golden, circular arch was decorated with light pink and white flowers. A live artist began painting the scene. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Monique and Christian recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts and Chilled Shrimp Skewers were tray passed around the Olive Grove and a Braised Pork Belly and Thai 3 Flavored Chicken Bao Station also offered something delicious to snack on. The bar served up beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature drinks; an Old Fashioned and Adios. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time to head inside for reception.

Black napkins and white flowers topped each table inside and custom printed name cards helped guests find their assigned seats. Christian and Monique made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Sesame and Ginger Beef and Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon with Jasmine Rice, Broccolini Spears, and Asian Cucumber Salad was served while toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their marble wedding cake with cappuccino creme filling and invited everyone to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua da Macarons, and Golden Milk Flan with Chai Whipped Cream. The evening ended with some guests showing off their moves on the dance floor, and others lounging around in the Olive Grove snuggling up to the fire pit before saying their goodbyes.
