Black and White Estate Wedding
The sun was shining on Jared and Rachel’s special day at The Estate on Second as their wedding party added the finishing touches to their looks in The Suite and Attic. Jared and his groomsmen dressed in classic black suits and white shirts while Rachel’s bridesmaids changed into emerald green, velvet dresses after popping some champagne. To keep things exciting, the bride and groom kept their first look moment for the aisle and spent extra time with their individual groups before lining up for ceremony.
The Crystal Ballroom was decorated in white, blush pink, and tan flowers and fresh greenery. Glass bud vases and bottles lined the aisle and were filled with even more florals tying in the install centered on the middle Palladian window. Guests watched as Jared made his entrance followed by the bridesmaids and groomsmen and ending with Rachel. When the bride and groom’s eyes met, they both lit up and grinned from ear to ear. The two exchanged vows in front of family and friends and sealed the deal with a kiss at the end of their ceremony, then everyone headed into cocktail hour.
Sausage Stuffed Mushroom, Flatbread Pizza, and Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed while the bar poured the newlywed’s signature cocktails; an Old Fashioned and Italian Margarita. Everyone mixed and mingled while the bride and groom were off wandering around the venue for romantics captured by their photographer. Before long, guests were called back into the Crystal Ballroom for dinner where tables were draped in black linens creating a dark, romantic atmosphere. The bottles and glasses that lined the aisle during ceremony were repurposed as centerpieces running the length of each table and ivory napkins added contrast. A live band played as Jared and Rachel danced into their reception and found their seats at the sweetheart table. Chicken Piccata, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Italian Green Beans with Pancetta, Roasted Broccolini, and Caesar Salad were served after toasts concluded. The Tuscan Menu was selected by the bride and groom with some help from our Event Specialist, Patti, during the couple’s planning process. Guests throughly enjoyed their dinner, then indulged in lemon cake and carrot cake. After eating their fill, the bride and groom made their way to the dance floor surrounded by their guests. Everyone showed off their best moves before saying goodbye and sending their well wished to the newlyweds.
