Autumn in Full Bloom at The Estate on Second
Kimmy met Josh in The Attic at The Estate on Second to share their first look. Dressed in an ivory wedding gown with floral lace bodice and chiffon skirt, Kimmy looked as if she was walking among clouds as she gracefully stepped closer and closer to Josh. Josh, anxiously awaiting his beautiful bride, stood facing the windows gazing outward until he heard her draw nearer. He turned around with his eyes closed and moments later he opened them. An immediate grin appeared on both Kimmy and Josh’s face as they exchanged first looks. Afterwards, the bride and groom took photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Each bridesmaid was dressed in velvet red wine-colored maxi dresses and each groomsman wore a nice suit with burgundy tie.
As guests began to take their seats, soft light soaked the fabric waterfalling down from the center Palladian window that acted as a backdrop to Kimmy and Josh’s wedding ceremony. A burst of pampas grass, roses, other flowers and greenery lined the top left rim of the window adding a wow moment to the Crystal Ballroom and ceremony décor. Scattered candles marked the aisle-way where Kimmy and Josh would make their appearance in front of friends and family in just moments. Once everyone was seated, the music began, and the wedding party made their way to the head of the aisle. Lastly, Kimmy walked out in her beautiful, flowing dress and stood next to Josh for their vows. Sweet words were shared that had everyone feeling the love between the bride and groom. Rings and “I dos” were exchanged and the ceremony was sealed with a kiss before heading into cocktail hour.
Outside on The Veranda sat a vintage inspired cigar lounge area where guests mingled while Caprese Skewers with Pesto & Basil and Flatbread Pizza with fontina cheese, caramelized onions, sundried tomatoes and pancetta were being tray passed. The newlyweds snuck away for golden hour photos before returning to a transformed wedding reception space in the Crystal Ballroom. Velvety bone colored linens topped each table while gold vessels held the more beautiful fall colored floral arrangements. Tall, beige candlesticks stood down the center of each table and gold flatware was placed at each place setting along with a menu that listed the evenings dinner options. The atmosphere in the room was warm and full of life. Josh and Kimmy entered in with their first dance while family and friends watched with love in their eyes. Afterwards, toasts were made commemorating the couple before dinner was served. The couple choose our Tuscan Menu for the evening and customized it to their liking with Grilled Marinated Vegetables, Sliced Tomatoes with Buffalo Mozzarella, Caesar Salad, Chicken Marsala, and Italian Lasagna for their guests. They also chose to add on our Craft Cocktail Bar which allowed everyone to create their own cocktail utilizing fresh fruits, herbs, and syrups and Grand Coffee Bar that includes coffee, whipped cream, cinnamon, chocolate shavings and more flavored syrups – Yum! After dinner, the rest of the evening consisted of delicious desserts, fulfilling more wedding traditions, dancing the night away and a sparkling send-off outside of The Estate.
