Autumn Boho Wedding at The Estate on Second
Christie walked over to her groom and tapped his shoulder in The Attic at The Estate on Second. Brian turned around for their first look with love on his face. Trying to hold back happy tears, the two embraced after soaking in the special moment together. Bridesmaids dressed in champagne, rust and emerald green dresses, and groomsmen dressed in charcoal grey suits joined the bride and groom for group photos after watching their first look from a distance. As guests arrived at the venue, the bridal party wandered around the premises laughing and posing together while holding their boho-inspired bouquets. Once all the shots were captured, the group lined up inside for ceremony.
Candles encompassed by eucalyptus lined the aisle inside the Crystal Ballroom and a wooden arbor stood tall decorated by pampas grass, toffee roses, and more foliage in front of our center Palladian window. Sparkling chandeliers caught the sunlight above while guests took their seats. Music cued up and Brian walked out kicking off the ceremony. Christie made her entrance last in a gorgeous wedding gown with appliqué detailing. The bride and groom stood before friends and family and shared personalized vows with one another before exchanging rings. Their officiant pronounced them as husband and wife and the bride and groom shared a sweet kiss. The crowd cheered as the newlyweds exited the Crystal Ballroom and entered cocktail hour.
Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, Shitake BLT Skewers, and Roasted Beet Crostinis greeted guests as they entered cocktail hour. The bar was shaking up the bride and groom’s signature drinks; a Bruin Walk and Dark and Stormy, and beer and wine was poured into glasses. Guests mixed and mingled while the newlyweds snuck away for golden hour photos. Loving moments were captured with the cityscape as their backdrop before the two rejoined the party for dinner.
Tables were draped in white linen and centerpieces made of dry and fresh flowers tied the decor together creating a warm atmosphere. Christie and Brian made their grand entrance once everyone was sitting at their assigned tables. Their first dance was shared as guests gazed on oohing and aahing. Afterwards, toasts were made honoring the bride and groom, then dinner was served. Plates of Pear & Walnut Salad arrived first followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Roasted Atlantic Salmon Filet, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, and Haricot Verte. Our Event Specialist, Casey, assisted the couple in hand selecting their special wedding menu during the planning process. Rave reviews were given after everyone had eaten their fill.
After dinner, everyone made their way to the dance floor. The bride and groom were at the center of every dance circle and guests showed off their best moves. While the dancing ensued, the Classic Dessert Station was unveiled. A selection of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs and French Apple Tarts were enjoyed by all guests. Everyone left on a sweet note and sent off the newlyweds just outside The Estate doors.
