Asado Experience Wedding at Grand Gimeno

With her hair pinned up in a sparkling clip, Courtney slipped into her lace wedding dress and buttoned up the back with help from her mom before her first look with Kyle at Grand Gimeno. Kyle was across the way in the Parlor suiting up in a burgundy tux, anxiously awaiting his bride. After accessorizing to complete their looks, the bride and groom met in the Courtyard for the big reveal. Framed in by the center arch, Kyle turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. An emotional exchange of compliments were shared and the couple shared a warm embrace before heading back inside to hide away until their ceremony.

With Grand Gimeno’s big blue doors open, guests began entering through the courtyard and into the Foyer. Making sure to leave their well wishes, everyone signed Kyle and Courtney’s guest book before taking a seat. Candles sat at the foot of the floral topped fireplace that acted as the backdrop for Courtney and Kyle’s wedding. Once everyone was seated, Kyle made his entrance with Courtney following behind. In front of family and friends, the bride and groom exchanged sweet vows, slipped rings on each other’s fingers, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Everyone cheered at the newlyweds walked down the aisle together exiting the ceremony.

Cocktail hour was one to remember! Our custom Grand Gimeno parrilla was fired up and ready to serve items fresh off our Asado Menu and the bar was serving up refreshing drinks. Choripan Sliders, a favorite Argentinian street food made of chorizo lightly seasoned in chimichuri and sandwiched between two slices of pan, were tray passed as guests sipped on the newlyweds signature cocktails; a Paloma and Whiskey Sour in the Olive Grove. The smell of delicious dinner filled the air while our Asadores were hard at work. Cocktail tables were draped in ivory linens and centerpieces of white flowers and greenery surrounded by small candles added little details to each space. A lounge near the outdoor fireplace created a relaxing spot for guests to kick up their feet and mingle while soft sounds from the nearby Spanish fountain filled the air. With cocktails in hand, Courtney and Kyle make their grand entrance just in time for dinner under the olive trees.

Cambria linens draped over the family style table that ran almost the full length of the olive tree row and candles and greenery decorated the tabletop. Guests had been watching our Asadors cooking their dinner all throughout cocktail hour, and now it was time to eat. The al fresco dining experience consisted of Entrana (skirt steak cooked medium-rare), Pollo a la Parilla (barbecued whole chicken), Chorizo (Argentinian sausage), Galbi (Korean bbq shortrib), Tomato & Onion Salad, Potato Egg and Mustard Salad, and of course, chimichurri on the side. The bride and groom wanted a meal that would wow their guests and our Event Specialist, Lauren, suggested our Asado Menu which is cooked live on-site for your guests to watch and ultimately, enjoy. Before grabbing their plates and heading over to the grill, Courtney and Kyle both said a few words, then invited everyone to head over and fill up their plate for dinner. Succulent meats and tangy salads filled guest’s plates as they sat back down at the reception table. Friends and family raised and clinked glasses while toasting the newlyweds and once everyone had finished dinner, dessert was served. Plates of custom flan dessert made their way in front of guests and shortly after, were devoured. The beautiful evening ended with everyone dancing under the stars while enjoying a cigar or two.
