A Lion Dance Ending

Jessica added the finishing touches to her bridal look, then stepped outside of Second Space for her first look with Andy. With her train trailing behind her, she tapped her groom’s shoulder and awaited his reaction. Andy almost couldn’t believe his eyes and immediately embraced his beautiful bride. The two complimented each other and Andy gave Jessica a little spin to show off her lacy gown, then their wedding group joined them for group photos. The guys wore navy suits to match Andy, and the bridesmaids wore mauve matching the groomsmen’s bow ties. Once pictures were taken inside and outside the venue, the group hid away for the ceremony.

Guests arrived and found their seats on the seating chart. Their seats for the ceremony were also their reception seats making for an easy transition between the two. A floral install stood tall at the center of the wall where the bride and groom would soon be exchanging vows and wicker lights hung above. At each table, centerpieces of rust, peach and white flowers added decoration and Chambre Boxed Lunches were ready for eating. Once everyone had found their seat, the groom made his entrance followed by the remainder of the wedding party and ending with Jessica. At the head of the aisle, in front of all their closest family and friends, the two read handwritten vows to one another in a joyful but tearful ceremony. The bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife, then shared a sweet kiss as they exited into cocktail hour.

Grilled Marinated Vegetables, Crab Cakes, Proscuitto Wrapped Figs with Bleu Cheese, Chicken Jalapeño Empanadas, and a Charcuterie Tray were on display for guests to snack on. While everyone was filling their plates with hors d’oeuvres, Jessica and Andy snuck away for a briefly to capture a few moments together as newlyweds and returned when dinner time had come.

With music pumping, Andy and Jessica made their grand entrance as husband and wife and shared their first dance before taking a seat at their sweetheart table. Cups were raised as friends and family made toasts, then dinner was unveiled. Three Gourmet Boxed Lunches were available. The first included Chicken Sonoma, Roasted Fingerling Potato Salad, Oven Roasted Carrots, and Blueberry Cheesecake Squares. The second, Mesquite Smoked Salmon, Basmati Rice Salad, Grilled Broccolini, and a Lemon Square, and the last, Chipotle Grilled Flat Iron Steak, Potato Gratin Stacks, and Ensalada Las Mesas. There was something for everybody! Shortly after dinner concluded, a 2-tiered cake was cut and served to guests. While enjoying cake, the evening ended with a Chinese lion dance that involved the bride and groom. Prosperity and well wishes filled the venue and everyone cheered as Andy took center stage to drum at the end of the dance. Hugs and goodbyes were shared as the newlyweds were sent off on their forever adventure.
