A Grand Wedding at The Executive Hangar
After exchanging “I dos” off-site, Christina, David, and their guests headed over to The Executive Hangar for cocktail hour and a celebratory wedding reception. A large custom dance floor and sparkling chandelier marked the center of the room and small planes intermingled with tables for added interest. Everyone arrived to a fully stocked bar serving up the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Moscow Mule and Kentucky Mule, and delicious Chicken Stuffed Mushrooms, Antipasto Skewers and Mini Turkey Palm Sandwich hors d’oeuvres. While everyone was arriving and settling in, Christina and David snuck off for the helicopter flight over Orange County soaking in beautiful sights as the sun was setting. Upon their return, the wedding party had lines up with glow sticks to greet the newlyweds and cheer them on into their grand entrance. Christina and David gleefully made their way to the dancefloor and shared their first dance as husband and wife as friends and family oohed and aahed.
Each table was set with silver rimmed plates and red wine colored napkins that added a pop of color. Beautiful centerpieces of greenery, white flowers and tall candles added to the already romantic atmosphere and menus were tucked away for guests to see the evenings offerings. Toasts were shared to honor the bride and groom, then the first course of Pomegranate Salad was served to guests. Next, delicious entree plates of Filet Mignon, Chicken Veronique, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans Almondine made their way to each table. Christina and David along with our Event Specialist, Brittany, pre-selected the perfect menu to compliment this special evening during the planning process and it did not disappoint! Guests finished every last bite from their plates and rave reviews for flavor were shared around each table. After dinner, the bride and groom cut their 4-tiered wedding cake and invited guests to indulge in an assortment of Mini Espresso Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes, Florentine Cookies, and Fruit Tarts before heading to the dancefloor. Friends and family posed for pictures at a photo booth, participated in the bouquet toss, and showed off their moves on the dance floor working up an appetite from all the fun. As a treat to all their guests, Christina and David opted for a late night snack of Al Pastor and Pollo Asado Street Tacos. Hungry guests were able to grab one last bite before sending off the bride and groom in a sea of lights and ribbons.
