A Champagne Toast for Catherine and Michael at Grand Gimeno

The girls got ready in the Powder Room and the guys suited up in the Parlor for Michael and Catherine’s wedding day. Glasses of bubbly were enjoyed while the hair and makeup team worked away finishing just in time for Catherine’s first look. Her bridesmaids in champagne-colored dresses gasped when she stepped out in an off the shoulder gown with pearl veil. Compliments were shared between the girls, then the bridal party sent Catherine to the Foyer where Michael awaited her. The wait was over, and Michael turned around to see his stunning bride standing before him. Happy tears were shed and a warm embrace was shared before the couple left the venue for their church ceremony.

After tying the knot at their church, everyone headed back to Grand Gimeno for cocktail hour. The newlyweds and their bridesmaids and groomsmen posed for pictures in the Olive Grove before joining the rest of guests for drinks and hors d’oeuvres back in the Foyer. Tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts made their rounds while the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Paloma and Classic Margarita, were poured at the bar. Everyone made sure to sign Catherine and Michael’s guest book, and before long it was time to take a seat for dinner.

Tables were topped with floral centerpieces and printed menus marked each place setting. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned tables just as the newlyweds headed inside for their grand entrance. Everyone cheered as the couple entered the reception and shared their first dance. Afterwards, Catherine and Michael thanked everyone for coming and dinner was served. Atlantic Salmon Fillet and Angus Flat Iron Steak with Artichoke Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Broccolini and Pear and Walnut Salad was selected by the bride and groom for their special day with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra. While guests enjoyed dinner, family and friends stood to make toasts. Glasses of champagne clinked in the air after each speech ended. The bride and groom shared dances with their parents and were then joined by their friends on the dance floor to end the evening. Everyone showed off their best moves and wished Michael and Catherine, then sent them off in an uproar of cheers.
