A Bubbly Exit at Grand Gimeno

Charis and her bridesmaids sipped on champagne inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno while Jonathan and his groomsmen suited up inside the Parlor. With a spritz of her perfume and help zipping up her wedding dress, Charis stepped out for her first look with the girls. Each bridesmaid wore a mauvy-peach colored dress and gasped when they saw Charis in her strapless, silky gown. The bridal party exchanged compliments and hyped up the bride for her walk down the aisle, then they lined up for ceremony. Meanwhile, Jonathan and his groomsmen sat in the Parlor and posed for the camera in matching tan suits. After a few group photos, they joined the girls in line.

Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat facing the olive trees. Arrangements of light pink, white, and toffee colored flowers marked the back of the aisle and matching floral pillars stood tall as the ceremony backdrop. Once everyone had arrived, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. Jonathan and Charis were all smiles when they saw each other across the aisle for the first time that day. Once joined together, the couple read personalized vows that drew happy tears, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss. Friends and family cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.

Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls and Sticky Pork Belly Bites were tray passed while the bar mixed up the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Moscow Mule, Cosmo, and Coconut Mai Tai. While guests mixed and mingled, Charis and Jonathan posed under the olive trees with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. After photos, the bride and groom were able to enjoy the end of cocktail hour, then headed inside for reception.

Tables were topped with flower filled bid vases, candles, and disposable cameras to ensure every moment was caught on film. Everyone checked the seating chart, then headed inside to find their table. Once everyone had found their assigned seats, Jonathan and Charis made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon, Korean BBQ Short Ribs, Vegetable Fried Rice, Far East Wok Long Beans, and Chow Mein was served for dinner. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Lauren. Family and friends shared toasts while everyone ate, and glasses clinked when each speech came to an end. After dinner, Jonathan and Charis cut into their 2-tiered almond wedding cake and invited guests to enjoy desserts. Dancing and desserts consumed the rest of the evening, and when the wedding was over, everyone sent the newlyweds off in a sea of bubbles.
