Kim + Tim, The Estate on Second
Welcome to Kim and Tim’s bright spring wedding at The Estate on Second! The Frost’s created a fun yet classic wedding day with the help of our own Event Specialist Hannah Stuber and wedding planners Ripe Designs.
Kim looked stunning on her wedding day. Her bridal party got ready in The Estate’s dazzling bridal suite with their makeup and hair done by Dolled up by LU-LU. We served the bridal party some pre-wedding snacks including Turkey Focaccia Sandwiches, Grapes and Mini Layered Basil Tortes with Crackers.
The ceremony was held in the gorgeous Crystal Ballroom. Magnolia Floral Design created aisles lined with cascading greenery and candles, as well as a romantic floral arch.
Guests were invited up into The Attic to enjoy music by Taps and hor d'oeuvres. Small bites included the delicious and popular Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons with Bearnaise Sauce and Chicken Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce.
For dinner the newlyweds chose our Classic Buffet of Chicken Breast stuffed with Zucchini and Lime Bread Stuffing with Lime Chardonnay Sauce. On the side, guests enjoyed a Pear and Walnut Salad, Creamy Pesto Tortellini, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans with Bacon, Shallots and Dill. For sweets we created a 3 tiered Chocolate and Vanilla Bavarian Filling Wedding Cake. Delicious!
The rest of the night’s entertainment was provided by Vox DJ’s who got everyone out on the dance floor! Signature drinks served as requested by the happy couple included, “The Rusty Gold” with whiskey, coke and lime and “The Ripe and Ready” which included vodka, ginger beer and lime.

Jessica + Ryan, The Casino
Jessica and Ryan Ashton said “I do” on April 2, 2016! Their romantic wedding was perfected by the abundance of gorgeous floral details created by the mother of the groom, Diane Ashton. All in the Detail Design coordinated the fabulous event located at The Casino, in the wonderful beach town of San Clemente!
The lovely ladies of the Bridal party got ready together with the help of Hair and Makeup artist Kelly Scripps. Their exquisite bridesmaid dresses complimented the blushing pink floral decor at this dream of a wedding!
After the Ashton’s ceremony, and while the wedding party took a little detour to take some gorgeous pictures, guests were invited to sample some of our delicious hors d'oeuvres. We served Mini Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Bruschetta Pomodoro.
When the wedding party returned, it was time for our newlyweds’ first dance together as husband and wife. Next was dinner time! For dinner we served our popular Tuscan Buffet, which included Cheese Tortellini with Creamy Pesto Chicken Parmigiana and Roasted Italian Zucchini.
The rest of the evening was fun and light, with party games outside like Jenga and Cornhole, and dancing inside with entertainment by DJ Tim Coy of California DJ’s. We ended the night with some traditional bouquet tossing, and the cutting of the cake. The Ashton’s chose our favorite Marble Cake with Chocolate Bavarian Filling and a French Buttercream Icing. To join the dessert table, we also served up a bunch of cupcakes with four different flavors to choose from: Carrot with Cream Cheese, Marble with Chocolate Bavarian Filling, White with Strawberry Creme, and Chocolate with Vanilla Bavarian Filling.

Jackie + Zach, The Casino
Travel enthusiasts Jackie and Zach Hallstrom tied the knot on June 4, 2016 at The Casino in San Clemente, California! All in the Detail Design coordinated a beautiful wanderlust wedding theme full of maps, globes, travel and adventure. Being next to the beach, these adventurers had a light and airy atmosphere complemented by the groomsmen and bridesmaids wearing grey and turquoise. Studio C Florals prepared lovely and light blushing flowers to complete this perfect celebration.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to cocktail hour where we catered small bites and signature drinks like Moscow Mules and Margaritas. For the hor d'oeuvres, we served mini Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons with Bearnaise Sauce, Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms, and Brie with crackers and crostinis.
After cocktails and the couple’s first dance, guests were shown to their seats by these adorable postcard place cards. The couple chose our popular Chicken Veronique to serve during their feast. It’s a lightly sauteed chicken breast served in a creamy champagne sauce with red and green grapes. To accompany the entree we prepared Au Gratin Potatoes, a Vegetable Medley, Penne a la Checca, Rice and a Mixed Green salad served with freshly baked rolls.
Jay’s also baked up a beautiful wedding cake made of two cake layers— red velvet with cream cheese filling and chocolate with vanilla bavarian filling and covered in a heavenly french buttercream icing. The newly weds also chose to have a cupcake station for their guests to enjoy, which included chocolate, carrot, red velvet and white raspberry cupcakes.
After dinner, guests got to get their photo booth picture souvenir, provided by SoCal Shutterbooth, and dance the night away to California DJ’s fantastic musical entertainment. At the end of the night, family and friends wished Jackie and Zach bon voyage onto their new expedition in life together.

Stacy + Matt, The Loft on Pine
This creative couple were married on April 3, 2016 at The Loft on Pine in Long Beach, California. Stacy and Matt Barnes have waited for this day for 12 years, hence the #finallybarnes hashtag for their wedding. After attending so many traditional weddings that felt the same, they wanted to bring fun, laughter, and light to their magical wedding day. Green Apple Event Company helped them achieve this by creating a light and relaxed atmosphere, while incorporating as many whimsical touches throughout the wedding experience.
Stacy and Matt’s theme was simple, classic, and playful with a touch of rustic. They used a mix of ivories, greys and lush greens to complement perfectly with the market lit wood backdrop and stump lined aisle. Their florist, Lavender’s Flowers, arranged the perfect collection to meet Stacy’s color palette and filled the ceremony with ivory florals and luxurious greenery.
To begin their ceremony, Matt enlisted his company Rogue Creative Development to create some pre-show videos to introduce their wedding party and to also present to their guests with the biggest surprise of the night: a video of their actual first wedding… just 3 months prior, in Vegas! They just couldn’t wait to be husband and wife, and what better way to do it! They brought their entire wedding party to Vegas, married on Friday, January 15 and created a video to show on their “official” wedding day to start it off with a bang!

Before the dinner and dancing commenced, the newlyweds had all of their pastor friends play Rock, Paper, Scissors for the honor of praying before their meals!
Jay’s catered and served Tacos, Sliders and Mac and Cheese. Three delicious comfort food stations that are easy for guests to mingle, choose what they want… and also go crazy with toppings! At our Mac and Cheese Station we offered applewood smoked bacon, sundried tomatoes, crunchy onions, sliced Italian sausage and sliced mushrooms to top their cheesy goodness to their desires!
Rather than opting for one of our traditional wedding cakes, Matt and Stacy wanted to serve some of their favorite desserts to their guests. The couple chose our Dessert Station which included a collection of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Cookies, Mini Cupcakes and Lemon Squares.
The night ended with a not so traditional bouquet toss (she included all of the ladies instead of the traditional singles-only) and dancing complemented by their evenings entertainment, VOX DJS!
We wish Matt and Stacy all the best as they begin their new lives together!

Jenna + Prescott, The Estate on Second
Jenna and Prescott married on April 2, 2016, at The Estate on Second in Santa Ana, California. The Van Leer’s wedding was heartfelt, light and rustic. This gorgeous wedding location with it’s natural brick and wood backdrop coupled perfectly with the newlyweds choice of neutral wedding colors like white, ivory, and grey, with blush pink, red and green for their flowers and greenery, created by Sweet Sage Events.
This wedding was a dream come true, coordinated by Green Apple Event Company, catered by us, Jay’s Catering, and photographed by Native Heart Photography.

Susie + Nick, The Estate on Second
Fresh spring florals and elegance brought this wedding to life. The Leonard's celebrated their love for one another on April 16, 2016 at The Estate on Second, in Downtown Santa Ana, California.
The mix of rustic décor, exposed brick, cascading greenery, and gold details, created a magical space for Susie and Nick’s special day. With florals by Growing Grace Floral Design and event coordination by Green Apple’s Meghan, it was truly a beautiful experience.
The groomsmen sported charcoal grey suits and the bride’s maids were in a luxurious green, which complimented perfectly with the classic elegance of Susie’s dress. She was stunning!
The ceremony was held in The Crystal Ballroom of the Estate. Under the exquisite chandeliers, Susie and Nick professed their vows to each other and celebrated their marriage with the ancient tradition of a Tree Planting Ceremony. To symbolise the roots of their relationship, continued growth of their love, and the unity they share in marriage, they planted and watered their plant to complete the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests were invited into The Attic of The Estate for hors d’oeuvres and drinks, while the The Crystal Ballroom was being set up for the reception. The newlywed couple wanted to include the perfect meal and accompaniments to complement their wedding. For small bites, we served Mini Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Fig & Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts, Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms and Crab Cakes.
Before dinner started, the couple honored their guests with a first dance as husband and wife.
They chose the Chef’s Choice for dinner, which included our Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Atlantic Salmon Fillet, Salad, Pasta, Quinoa & Grilled Vegetable Stuffed Portobello Mushroom, and our crispy Oven Roasted Rainbow Fingerling Potatoes.
For the perfect finish to their meals, the newlyweds chose our Italian Dessert Station. A delectable collection of Chocolate Florentines, Cappuccino Cream Puffs, Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Biscotti and Mini Tiramisu Cupcakes.
Susie and Nick wanted to complete their golden detail theme with their wedding cake. A classic chocolate wedding cake with raspberry créme filling and light and airy whipped cream icing surrounded in golden glitter.
After the feast, guests hit the dance floor, partied, and celebrated all night long, until it was time to wave off the newlywed couple on to their journey of life together.
